John Cioffi - Principal and Owner
John is an insightful, energetic and dynamic business coach with expertise in finance, sales and marketing, operations, and strategic planning. He is a graduate of Colby College, and holds graduate degrees from Dartmouth College and The Wharton School.
John' clients have included a wide variety of firms across the nation in the fields of consumer products, construction, engineering, surveying, design, computer software., manufacturing, and retail.
Prior to GoalMakers, John was a senior principal at several consulting and mergers and acquisitions firms. He also held executive positions in several scientific companies and ran a subsidiary of a Fortune 100 firm.
John has been a GoalMakers coach for 16 years. He also has given numerous seminars across North American in topics including mergers and acquisitions, business planning, financial management, and marketing.
Tim Riley - Principal
Tim is a shirt-sleeve, results driven coach and board member with over 25 years of successful business experience.
Prior to GoalMakers, Tim was CEO of Point It search marketing, a well-respected pioneer in paid search engine management. Tim was also the founder and former CEO of Door to Door Storage, a convenience oriented approach to the self-storage business. Door to Door Storage grew under Tim's leadership to a national presence serving over 2,000 cities. Under Tim's leadership, Door to Door was twice named on Inc. Magazine's 500 fastest growing private companies in America list and on the Puget Sound Business Journal's Fastest Growing Private Companies list seven times.
Prior to that Tim was director of marketing for Shurgard Storage Centers and was an integral part of their expansion and successful IPO. Tim is a third generation native of the Seattle area where he lives with his wife and son. He is an active board member of the Entrepreneur's Organization and an alumnus and former board member of the Young President's Organization.
Ken Willig - Founder
The late Ken Willg, the founder of GoalMakers, was a dynamic and aggressive visionary, and an experienced Entrepreneur-CEO coach. He specialized in strategic planning, succession planning of family owned companies, implementing effective goal-focused management systems and developing a customer-focused corporate culture. His consulting clients included the President/CEO of a variety of companies in the fields of construction, agriculture, engineering, real estate, manufacturing, medical consulting, tourism, telecommunications, retailing, professional services, insurance, and manufacturing.
Ken was an enthusiastic, high energy entrepreneur himself. After graduation from Purdue University, he founded and was CEO of numerous successful companies and two banks. His history of successes includes the founding, directing, and developing of a broad range of business ventures. He also designed, directed and taught the MBA entrepreneurial program at City University in Seattle.
Ken developed many of the ideas and processes used by GoalMakers, and his philosophy, approach, and style are a part of our makeup. We miss him every day, and so do his clients.
